Shame 2000 was developed by Unolympics.com, a small group of professionals working in digital media, communications and politics. We believe that to counteract the sanitised hype of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, the world needs an independent source of information on the some of the issues that Australians can’t feel so proud about – like our current polices on indigenous affairs, human rights, the environment and foreign policy.

Our Philosophy? That "the Howard Government’s mean spirited policies contradict the ideals of the Olympic movement."
